Challenge
This was exactly the situation Gastech‑Energi faced when it acquired industry peer OK Energiteknik. There was commitment and expertise – but not sufficient time or capacity to create an overview and a shared plan for the merger.
Uncertainty around roles, processes and the future organisational structure risked slowing progress. That is why Gastech‑Energi turned to kaastrup|andersen.
Solution

We set the framework, facilitated the process and ensured momentum – while Gastech‑Energi contributed leaders and middle managers who played an active role and carried out the practical implementation.
Together, we defined a clear project structure and a realistic integration plan. Our focus was both on strengthening collaboration between the two former organisations and on maintaining operational momentum throughout the process.
At the same time, we analysed warehouse and logistics functions across both companies and identified hidden efficiencies. This provided the foundation for an effective transfer and rapid start‑up of the new, consolidated warehouse.

Today, Gastech‑Energi stands as the largest service provider in its industry in Denmark. The organisation is stronger – and the experience gained from the project is now being applied to new strategic initiatives.
